The Loud Spring

Johanna Schellhagen | EN | 2022 | 62 minutes | D

Taking to the streets and demonstrating has already had a big impact - think of the workers' uprisings for the AHV or the youth unrest in the 1960s and 1980s, which led to more freedom and tolerance. But the climate crisis needs more effort: The film plays with the idea of a revolution in which the people take the reins, overturn today's power structures and shape production in such a way that it becomes sustainable. This scenario is surprisingly not utopian, because it is based on the successes that workers' movements around the world have already achieved.
